The atmosphere of the hotel and the furnishing of the rooms and the whole hotel. Also that it was so well looked after. The size of the room was very nice and the large bathroom was very nice too.
As it was a hotel we thought that we could have dinner at the hotel but that was not possible and we were told not to eat in the room. When you have travelled 2 weeks and been eating out most of the time you should like to have a quiet evening eating small, but that was not possible. May be they could have showed us a place outside where we could eat when not allowed to eat in the room. May be you should write that having dinner at the hotel is not possible.

Excellent staff, Fantastic location. Place to come with relaxation in mind but close enough to go into Florence and enjoy the city. Need a car but a must for the independent tourist visiting the area. Swimming pool if the weather can hold and good food. Small compact and a feel of exclusive as you arrive through the secure electric gates.
Nothing, except you need the Sun although it is still serene in the rain.

There were central heating, a safe, and multi-channel TV in the room, liked that. The location was marvellous and lovely, on the outskirts of Florence, in the beautiful area. Plus, San Piero a Ema was within walking distance of the hotel...

The hotel's decor had a timeless elegance that reminded me of the grandeur of old Florence. The common areas were beautifully furnished with antique furniture and adorned with stunning artwork. It felt like stepping into a bygone era. As a senior, I appreciated the ease of accessibility throughout the hotel, with spacious hallways and a lift available for those who may need it.
While the children working there were polite and helpful, I would have preferred a more attentive and proactive approach to catering to the needs of senior guests. An extra level of thoughtfulness towards ensuring comfort and convenience for older patrons would have made the vacation even better.

Very cool swimming pool; luxury breakfast
The wifi is completely not working - not on iphone, not on ipad, not on nokia -- it is better not to mention it -- for us , it was a selection criteria, which is a showstopper.. - you hear the traffic on lower located road from early in the morning

I had a fantastic and absolutely gorgeous room with a big, comfortable bed. the hotel is placed in a central location in the hills. 3. I found lots of restaurants to eat at, like Osteria del Rosso, which is only a 20-minute walk away.

It's a very quit atmosphere, not so many rooms, nice and compact. The building itself is an old villa which makes a perfect setting for a luxury night off. We stayed in the suite which has a real nice direct entrance to the swimming pool and garden.
Although very accurate and helpful with handling luggage personnel was a bit stiff and not really warm and welcoming. When we tried to get some wineglasses that were really within reach and in a public area we were told it’s forbidden to take them yourself. Furthermore the hotel is beautifully equipped with all kinds of authentic furniture and thus less suitable for travelers with little children.
